Microsoft is reportedly planning to add a Zune based cellphone to its newly unveiled Zune music player. The news came during the September 14 press conference that announced the Zune player.

Recently retail gaint Wal-Mart posted the price of 30-gigabyte zune media player price at $284.00 on its website. It appears that it was a mistake and the price was not supposed to be disclosed. Company has taken down the price tag from the website.
If that is the price, then this pricing is similar to $300 price tag of Apple iPod.
This price was incorrectly and inadvertently listed at Walmart.com

A chinese manufacturer (Oriphie) has unveiled a Zune clone, named MPF2110. It is available in 128MB to 2GB capacities featuring 1.8 inches display, FM tuner, preset equilizers, and USB connectivity. It supports MP3, WMA, WAV, AMW, MPEG, and AVI formats. Pricing and availability has not been announced.

Amazon and Walmart has started taking pre-orders for for Microsoft Zune which is supposed to be released in the month of Nocember. So if you want to be one of those early cool guys, then go ahead and order them.

Microsoft is planning to release Zune Marketplace similar to itunes for ipod, to download songs on the net.
Zune Marketplace will allow you to buy songs directory or you can also use a subscription or rip CDs and sync them with Zune.
iTunes was a major help for iPod and same is the hope of Microsoft with Zune marketplace.
